Who Is My Neighbor?Luke 10:25-37

An expert in the law approached Jesus with a question, "What must I do to inherit eternal life?" By directing him to the essence of the law, and then by telling the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus tried to bring the man face-to-face with the inadequacy of his own efforts. Jesus paints a picture of what it looks like to love God and others. In the process he teaches that we are not to divide the world into neighbors and non-neigbors. Rather we are to be good neighbors.
