Sickness, financial setbacks, relational conflict, emotional illness – suffering is a part of life in this world. How are we to make sense of suffering? Paul helps us put suffering in perspective by pointing us to God’s future plan for us and for creation. He also tells us of One who prays perfectly for us. In Romans 8:18-27 Paul gives us hope for hard times.
Romans 8:11: I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
