Paul challenges those who would abuse God’s grace and forgiveness as an excuse to do as they please concerning sin. Instead, Paul reminds believers that by identifying with Christ in his death, burial and resurrection our fundamental identity has changed. While we were once dead in sin, we have now died to sin so that we might walk in the newness of life! Who we are will determine how we live.
